By using the Shmuel ha-Navi 40 app you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.

What the app is

A free, private community app that collects the simcha announcements already sent out to the Yeshiva Toras Aish community and organises them, with reminders and a member directory.

Who may use it

Members of the Yeshiva Toras Aish community whose phone number is on the roster. Sign in with your own number only. Do not sign in as somebody else.

The directory

The directory holds real people's phone numbers, addresses and email addresses, shared inside the community for community purposes. You may use it to reach people you know for personal and communal reasons. You may not publish it, sell it, hand it to anyone outside the community, or use it for marketing, solicitation or bulk messaging.

What you put in

If you submit a correction or an invitation image, you confirm it is accurate and yours to share. We may review, edit or remove anything submitted. Nothing you submit appears automatically — a person checks it first.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abuse

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. That means anything offensive, obscene, hateful, threatening, harassing, misleading, or that exposes somebody's private details without their consent. Anyone who submits such content, or who uses the app to harass or impersonate another person, will have the content removed and will be removed from the app.

• Every image is checked by a person before anyone else sees it.
• Flag it. Every simcha and every picture has a "Report" link. Reports reach the office immediately.
• Block anyone. A person's page has "Block this person". Their simches and pictures disappear from your app at once, and the office is told.
• We act within 24 hours. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours; content that breaks these rules is removed and the person who submitted it loses access.

By using the app you agree to these rules.

Accuracy

Event details come from announcements sent to the community and can contain mistakes, change at short notice, or be missing entirely. Check with the family before you travel. We provide the information as it reached us and cannot guarantee it is right.

Notifications

The app sends notifications you ask for. Delivery depends on Apple, Google, your carrier and your own device settings, so we cannot promise any particular notification will arrive, or arrive on time.

Availability

The app is provided as is, free of charge. It may be unavailable, changed or discontinued at any time. To the extent the law allows, Eshul LLC is not liable for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it.

Ending access

We may suspend access that is abused, used to harvest the directory, or used to impersonate someone. You can stop using the app whenever you like — see Delete your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
